Meet our APAC Team!
Posted 3 years ago by Angus Quinn
Skimlinks has been delighted to expand its network of premium editorial publishers across the Asia-Pacific in the past two years.
We’ve more than tripled the size of our network in that time, partnering with leading names from Singapore to Hong Kong to Taiwan, Australia and more to power their commerce content strategies. In addition we’re delighted to work with Merchants across the region to help grow their affiliate programs and help our global partners scale in this region.
We’ve also been fortunate to significantly expand our team working on APAC and in this post we’re going to introduce them so you can get to know them all a little bit better.
Dunia, SVP Revenue EMEA & APAC
As Skimlinks’ SVP Revenue APAC I launched our full go to market strategy in the region two years ago and am responsible for championing growth of quality editorial publishers around the world. I continue to work across new markets to identify opportunities for Skimlinks’ platform to help publishers diversify their revenue streams and build growth in this vital new area.
Fun Fact:
Within the first month of relocating to Australia in 2009, I came face to face with my worst fear: A Snake. Needless to say the snake ended up in 7 pieces. Cause of death: Knee high boots.
Camilla, Director of Partner Development APAC
I lead day-to-day operations for the APAC team at Skimlinks. Our main mission is helping premium content partners to start and to scale commerce content programs as a meaningful revenue stream for their businesses.
We set up successful partnerships with advertisers in the region, also working with networks and agencies to help push performance marketing further.
Fun Fact:
My first job was as web editor for an Italian online magazine. I really enjoy writing and never thought by career would lead me to manage the commercial side of Publishers’ Commerce content businesses.
Devi, Merchant Development Manager (APAC)
I build and manage partnerships with key merchants, networks, and agencies across APAC. I help them grow their affiliate programs with our publishers. Commerce content is new in the market, so I also work with the marketing team on promotional initiatives, like newsletters and case studies to raise brand awareness in the region.
Fun Fact:
When I was younger, my dad used to personalise our postage stamps with my photo in it and he’s so proud! Trust me you don’t want that in your teenage life.
Ruan, Merchant Account Manager
The newest member of the APAC team! Having spent the last year working with the top UK merchants and helping them grow performance with content publishers, I have now transitioned into an APAC merchant account manager role, where my goal will be to grow top merchant performance, strengthen publisher relationships and increase Skimlinks’ exposure.
Fun Fact:
My Grandad has 4 kidneys and I may too: Apparently its hereditary!
Wenting, Associate Commerce Editor
Being part of the Skimlinks Editorial Network, I produce commerce content for key publishers in Chinese-Speaking markets to scale their affiliate revenue. The role is broader than pure content production, as I also help publishers with their commerce content strategy, holding regular catch ups, tracking social media for trends and looking at ways for them to optimize the merchants the work with.
Fun fact:
My friends call me Ramen queen because I make the tastiest instant noodles.
Connor, Associate Commerce Editor
I produce content on behalf of Skiminks’ partners looking to grow their commerce strategy. When I’m not writing, you can find me sourcing the latest consumer trends to inspire our clients strategies, which involves evertything from watching A LOT of TikToks to analysing reports by search engines and industry-leading experts.
Fun Fact:
I have a relative who performed a cover of Isn’t She Lovely on iconic British music show Top Of The Pops in 1977.
Laurence, Merchant Development Intern
I am the Merchant Development Intern. I scout, collect and curate offers from merchants, produce weekly promotional newsletters for publishers and create reports and insights to share with clients.
I also handle requests from unmanaged merchants and help develop new merchants in APAC. Speaking Chinese does help make things easier…😂
Fun Fact:
Went to University in Florence and ended up spending all my time travelling instead of studying.
Lidwina, Publisher Development Intern
I support the commercial team as a Publisher Development Intern. I track the promo/offers distributed to the publishers, as well as sending daily offers to them. I also support premium publishers with their editorial plans by curating merchants/products recommendations.
Fun Fact:
I love watching animations, especially Disney and Nickelodeon. Spongebob and Disney Princesses are filling my watchlist
